Quant is one of three CAT sections, 40 minutes long, and the one where a large, well organised question bank matters most. The difference between a 90th and a 99th percentile here is usually pattern recognition built over hundreds of problems rather than any single technique. Every question below is verified, and every one has a worked solution waiting inside practice mode.

Multiple-choice questions carry +3 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. Non-MCQ questions, where you type the answer directly, carry +3 and no penalty, which is why it is usually worth attempting every non-MCQ you can reach.
Arithmetic and Algebra between them account for the majority of questions in recent papers, with Geometry and Number System close behind. That said, CAT publishes no syllabus and the mix moves year to year, so treat any weighting you read as a description of past papers rather than a prediction.
In the exam, 40 minutes across roughly 22 questions is under two minutes each, but that average is misleading, because the skill being tested is deciding fast which questions to skip. Practising untimed first and adding the clock later works better than starting timed.
