CATWhat carries over

Already preparing for CAT?

Most SNAP takers are. Here's what carries over, and what the pack adds.

CAT prep already covers

Arithmetic, algebra, data interpretation, reasoning puzzles and reading comprehension: SNAP's questions come from chapters CAT already covers, usually at an easier level.

SNAP adds

Pace (a minute a question), more grammar and vocabulary than CAT asks, data sufficiency, and the new Ethics, Morality and Values section.

Not CATWhere takers trip

How SNAP is not CAT

The things CAT takers trip on.

1

A new 10-question Ethics, Morality and Values section. General English and Reasoning shrink to 10 and 20 questions; it's still 60 questions in 60 minutes.

2

You can sit three tests (13, 19 and 26 Dec), each paid for separately, and your best score counts.

3

No sectional time limits: take the sections in any order.

4

SNAP is only half the final merit: the score is scaled to 50, with Group Exercise worth 10 and Personal Interaction 40.

5

Test dates and cities go first come, first served, and can't be changed after you pay.
