Not CATWhere takers trip

How MAH-CET is not CAT

The things CAT takers trip on.

1

In 2026 you could sit twice (6–8 April, and an optional 9 May attempt). The better percentile counted, and each attempt was paid for.

2

200 questions in 150 minutes, with no negative marking and no sectional timing.

3

Reasoning is half the paper: 75 logical and 25 abstract questions, each with five options.

4

Test centres are only in Maharashtra, and in 2026 you needed an APAAR ID (made through DigiLocker) to register.

5

Cutoffs differ by seat type: Home University seats often close lower than Other-than-Home-University seats.
