Maharashtra figures are the official closing scores for All India seats in CAP 2026-27 Round I. Those seats pool CAT and CMAT candidates, so treat them as a guide, not as CMAT-only percentiles.

How CMAT is not CAT

The things CAT takers trip on.

General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which CAT never tests, carry 160 of the 400 marks.

+4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong one, and nothing for a skipped one.

One 180-minute timer for the whole paper, with no sectional limits.

Women pay ₹1,250 whatever their category (₹2,500 for General men); there's no age limit, and final-year students can apply.

Not notified yet: last cycle's bulletin came on 17 October 2025, and the exam was on 25 January 2026.

What CMAT takers ask before they buy a pack.

NTA hasn't announced it. Last cycle, registration ran from 17 October to 24 November 2025 and the exam was on 25 January 2026, so the notice could come any day.

Yes: +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. Skipped questions score zero.

Five sections of 20 questions each: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

AICTE-approved B-schools across India. Through Maharashtra's CAP, it also counts for All India seats at JBIMS, Sydenham, WeSchool and others, alongside CAT.

Mocks for CMAT, previous year CMAT questions and strategy notes. It's material only: no lectures and no mentor.

Last cycle: ₹2,500 for General men, and ₹1,250 for women, reserved categories and third-gender candidates.
