Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Optima Learn account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do that, what gets deleted, and what we may retain.
Delete your account from the app
- Open the Optima Learn app and sign in.
- Tap your profile avatar in the top bar to open the account menu.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm in the dialog.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out of all devices.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address registered on your account and we will process the deletion for you:

What happens after you delete
- Your account is deactivated right away and can no longer be used to sign in.
- You can restore your account by simply signing in again within 60 days of deletion.
- After 60 days the deletion becomes permanent: your personal identifiers — name, email address, and phone number — are irreversibly anonymized and can no longer be linked back to you.
Data that is deleted
The personal information tied to your account is removed or irreversibly anonymized, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your profile details and academic information.
- Sign-in credentials and links to any connected sign-in provider (e.g. Google).
Data we may retain
We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate need such as fraud prevention, security, or financial compliance. Where retained, such data is kept only for as long as necessary and is dissociated from your identity wherever possible. This may include:
- Transaction and billing records required for tax and accounting obligations.
- Anonymized, aggregated usage data that can no longer identify you.
